Here is a collection of some of the automotive posters I have created, these posters are to show the beauty that can be seen in some of the old and new automotive work from the industry, with the designs I was aiming to capture the beauty from each and see where I can show the new technology that has been developed and in some way show how not all new designs are as good as the classics.

When I was looking into the different ways I could have taken the poster I decided on making sure that the bike wasn't fully shown however have the little touches and the main elements of the bike to have that hyper detail that works on the style of posters I am creating.

When it comes to the inspiration of the poster I wanted it to look like a page out of a car magazine, this was to be like the centre fold of the page and have the back end of the car on the next page, however I wanted to make sure that I only do the front as I wanted to focus on one element as a test to see how it will be received.

When it came to the car I looked into doing more of a hyper detail illustration this was to make sure that there is a focus on the car and the technology that goes into the designs, however on the background I went with a simple but effective style that is recognisable from retro posters as this is a combinations of the two styles.

With this design I wanted to go more modern with the style and looked into a simpler approach to the design process this means that I was able to capture the lines in detail but not draw away from some elements also. this is something to consider going forward with more designs.

When looking back on the hand painted designs I wanted to consider how to use modern methods to bring back this classic style, with a twist, going forward with more designs like this I will explore this more.

With the poster I wanted to explore designing it in a way that combined the retro style with digital methods, and I tried to see how a rip would look like in this design to see the two pieces coming together, through the digital method.
